Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the defense-related exhibition IDEAS-2022 at Karachi Expo Centre on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the COAS witnessed various stalls at the exhibition IDEAS-2022 at Karachi Expo Centre.

The COAS also interacted with the cross section of visitors and delegates and held separate meetings with various visiting delegates including Bahrain, Italy, Srilanka, Libya, Zimbabwe, and UAE

میلبرن میں ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈ کپ کے فائنل میں انگلینڈ نے پاکستان کو پانچ وکٹوں سے شکست دی ہے اور دوسری مرتبہ یہ ٹائٹل اپنے نام کر لیا ہے۔ بین سٹوکس نے 49 گیندوں پر 52 رنز کی ناقابل شکست باری کھیلی اور اپنی ٹیم کو فتح سے ہمکنار کرایا۔ کپتان بابر اعظم کے مطابق پاکستان قریب 20 رنز کم بنا پایا۔

قطر میں اس اتوار سے شروع ہونے والا فٹبال ورلڈ کپ کئی اعتبار سے منفرد ہے۔ یہ نہ صرف کسی بھی عرب ملک میں ہونے والا پہلا ورلڈ کپ ہے بلکہ یہ اس لحاظ سے بھی مختلف ہے کہ یہ سردیوں میں منعقد ہو رہا ہے۔ عموماً ورلڈ کپ مئی، جون یا جولائی میں کھیلا جاتا ہے۔

ایک طرف تو قطر اور فیفا انتظامیہ کو انسانی حقوق کے موضوع پر دنیا بھر سے سوالات کا سامنا ہے تو دوسری طرف شائقین اور فٹبال پنڈٹ اس ورلڈ کپ پر اٹھنے والے اخراجات سے لے کر اس کی مارکیٹنگ اور اس کے انعقاد کے انداز پر بھی بڑھ چڑھ کر بحث کررہے ہیں۔

یہ سب باتیں ایک جانب، لیکن اگر آپ قطر انتظامیہ کی طرف سے بنائے جانے والے سٹیڈیمز پر نظر ڈالیں تو ان میں سے کچھ کسی شاہکار سے کم نہیں۔ ٹورنامنٹ کے لیے بنائے جانے والے 9 سٹیڈیمز میں سے بہت سے میدان کسی نہ کسی وجہ سے منفرد ہیں، لیکن ان سب سے ایک سٹیڈیم ایسا ہے جو کہ نہ صرف ڈیزائن بلکہ اپنی ساخت کے حوالے سے بھی حیرت انگیز ہے۔

Delhi High Court in India has permanently restricted the e-commerce platform Amazon from adding the Pakistan-manufactured Rooh Afza to its platform and has restrained them from selling any products under the name of ‘ROOHAFZA’.

The order came as a result of the petition filed by the popular drink’s Indian manufacturer, Hamdard National Foundation, in which it alleged that the e-commerce platform was selling Pakistani-manufactured Rooh Afza on its platform.

Rooh Afza was first introduced by Hakim Hafiz Abdul Majeed in Delhi. However, after the Indo-Pak partition, his elder son moved to India and the younger one to Pakistan.

Hamdard National Foundation manufactures Rooh Afza in India while Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) has the rights over the drink in Pakistan.

The high court in its Wednesday order said, “‘Rooh Afza’ is a product which has been consumed by the Indian public for more than a century now, and its quality standards have to comply with the applicable regulations prescribed by the Food Safety and Standards Act and Legal Metrology Act.”

The court wondered how an imported product was being sold on Amazon without complete details of the manufacturer being disclosed.
