While we were in Sost, at the times of blossom, it was a totally different world. It did not seem to resemble its version of summers or autumn. The trees without leaves with red branches and stems. The shrubs with white textures and bodies. The snow in the air. The clouds, the temperature; nothing would fit in. Or maybe that Blossoms was a very complexed one. Since it was constantly snowing and the temperature was not rising. The flowers wanted to bloom and the cold was not letting them out. It’s that strange feeling that we sometimes feel within ourselves when we are in a state of tug of war with our emotions. I have been in the shoes for many times in my life.

To express my emotions, I use colours. Their combinations to define the moods I was experiencing while witnessing the moments I was capturing. It’s a totally different world out there when I want to show through my eyes. Since it’s not the eye of the camera or the lens, or the medium of photography. It’s me and myself in those colours you see in my pictures. I have a strong connection to them. And whatsoever the way it looked to any other naked eye, to me, it was gloomy and dark and complexed.

THE IMPACT OF HUMANS ON EARTH
These dead logs, once giving oxygen to our lungs, providing nests to birds, shadows to the humans were the tall green living trees. This graveyard shows our impact on nature. It would be alright if we were planting more trees than cutting them down. This accelerated rate is the cause of disturbing the equilibrium. The climate change impact has everything to do with us and only us.

On the contrary, God has bestowed us with beautiful nature. The charisma of Hindukush Mountain Range has a different impact on you. The diverse landscape of upper swat valley is rich in culture and unique in its formations. For some reason, after the 2010 floods, Upper Swat prominently attracts me in winters more than in summers. The shots were taken in the villages of Mitaltan and Gabral.
