Volcano-like Cloud Burst
This was one of the strangest cloud formations I have seen. On the lower left in this image, there was a low lying cloudbase near to the mountains, and then a big layer in the sky which looked like everything was volcanoed from the mountain in front. A beautiful viewpoint on the way from Skardu to Shigar valley, Pakistan.

Last light on Indus river
This image was taken after a very long and testing drive towards Skardu city from Islamabad. Just as you cross over the river on a bridge to Skardu, you arrive at a beautiful viewpoint to witness the calm of River Indus, which was earlier gusting from all the way, Islamabad.

Barenis is a very remote valley in Chitral district of Pakistan. To access this valley, you need to reach Chitral from Islamabad in a 12 hour long drive through mountains or if you are lucky, you can get a flight (often cancelled due to mountain weather). From Chitral, you drive jeeps on an unpaved road towards Shandur, and you find this valley on the way.
