Can I be honest?

I’m a really impatient person, but I can’t help find myself waiting. I keep dreaming about this perfect future tense- where I’m cooler and confident and so much more self assured. It’s this really great version of me who has everything figured out and is always just so happy. I keep watering that fictional version of me with fables of “one day” and convincing myself that I will eventually be ready. I think we’re all guilty of that- fantasising so hard about a future that may or may not ever come true, we lose sight of what is exactly in front of us. Here’s a little video, for everyone looking for a sign to take control of their life. Being ready is not a magical state of being, but a decision. Your life starts being your, the moment you are brave enough to decide to let it be yours.

This year was full of adventures. I learned that spending time with yourself is just as important as sharing it with others. I visited new places, and I’m already dreaming of the next ones. Grateful for every opportunity that came my way. This year humbled me and somehow reminded me how much there still is to learn.
