Sleeping before 3am is prohibited.
Waking up before 10am is also prohibited.
Getting to office at lunch time is not unusual.
If you are an employee, coming to work late is usual because you had to pay the water bill or because your sister in law's, sister in laws's grandson got engaged last night.
Fear of Allah is a must.
But fear of evil eye, black magic and ghosts are the biggest fears in life.
Gossiping is a must.
So is going to the same schools, tutors and tailors
Wedding card invites have to be followed by a call. Otherwise the invitation is not accepted!
Though a wedding invite says 9:30pm, don't show up before 11pm. Yes, that includes the host!
Wedding guests cannot be less than a thousand (including your sister in law's, mother in law's, son in law's, son in law (who never turns up anyway due to some family misunderstanding)
Weddings end at 5am.
But after a wedding they must congregate at a hotel to catch up again.
All the lights at home must be on till they go to sleep.
They scream about the electricity bills but order food for 10 when there are only 4.
During the month of fasting, their food bills run higher.
The cooking oil industry will collapse without them.
Tea and paan (betel leaf) has to follow immediately after a meal.
Drinking tea before sleeping is also normal.
Reading is out of the question.
A psychiatrist is a mad man!
Anyone holding Phd is a Phira Huwa Dimaag.
