I usually try to shoot on location and the session can last anywhere from a half hour to two hours. But it can vary keeping the subject in mind and client's preference. What to Expect:
The tone of the session is relaxed, casual, and fun! The pace of the
session is dictated by the child; there is always time for a break, a snack or a clothing change. No stress for the parents...no waiting in line, or rushed sessions, cheesy smiles or making sure your child is posed perfectly. My Style:
Im not looking to create a traditional perfect portrait. Life is hardly perfect and I intend to capture it just the way it is. Because the most natural images are a result of connecting with the child. This allows the child to relax and really lets their personality shine through in the portrait and gives the parents a break as well! My Background:
Being a full time working mom of three spirited boys, has been the main source of my inspiration. I just always loved taking pictures but it is only after the birth of my second baby I realized how much joy it brought to me. My Portfolio:
