Speaking about the idea of the film, Rizvi shared that he had been greatly interested in the art form of dance and felt that due to a stigma attached to it, many avoid pursuing it considering it futile and unacceptable to society.

“I find the aesthetics of dance very beautiful and I think it should be immensely respected as a form of art. I have known Daud for quite some time. My previous work has been about public health as well as gender so I wanted to throw light on it especially as to how a man is promoting dance by performing it,” he said.

When the city burned, so did she. She burned with a fiery passion, and she rose from within the flames to take back what was hers - what is ours.

Men wage wars but it is the women who rebuild, who breathe life into our cities, and they dance around the flames, blinding out the fires of hatred with their own light.

Resilience and song came together that day, a dhamaal of raw emotion, of desire for peace, of desire for a city that sings and moves with us, a city that can never be broken. She danced and danced until she and Sehwan became one, until she and faith became one, for to believe in her is to believe in peace, and to believe in resilience.
