Just outside Karachi, hidden in silence and sand, lies a forgotten piece of history—Chaukhandi Tombs. These sandstone graves belong to the Jokhio and Baloch tribes, dating back to the 15th–18th centuries.
What makes them special? Each tomb is beautifully carved. Men’s graves show swords and horsemen, while women’s have patterns that look like jewelry. Every design means something—it’s not just decoration, it’s a story carved in stone.
Even after hundreds of years, the carvings are still sharp, still proud. Standing among them feels like walking through a quiet museum where no words are spoken, but everything is remembered.
