Algorithm is everything if you want to grow on social media. But what's Algorithm?
I've explained it in easiest words: ⚡

Understanding algorithm is the most fundamental thing to understand when creating and growing on instagram. You did research on it or heard from someone but you think it's really technical i don't understand it. Let me explain in easiest way to you

If i tell you a person has posted a 1 minute video and nobody watched it over 5 seconds, What comes to your mind, is it a good video or bad? Ofcourse it's bad!

Similarly if someone posts a 1 minute video and almost everybody watches it 50 seconds+, It means video was awesome. That's what algorithm is. It's kind of human

Let's take another example! If a person is follows 500 people and after a day unfollows them and continues doing it for weeks, what do you think, does he want to build relationship with his audience and provide value or he is just trying to get followers, ofcourse he is trying to get followers.

So algorithm thinks like you, it analyses and triggers on the basis of data. Anything you see that is ethical is good for algorithm and anything that is not ethical like getting fake likes or followers, spamming people etc is not good for algorithm. NO CHEATING!

There are different types of algorithm
Content Algorithms - Tracks Quality of Content
Penalty - Getting restrictions
Social Signals - How people consume your content - How people interact with you
Hashtags and Explore - Recommendation Systems - Who should we show on Hashtag or Explore pages?

Profile Optimization is the most important thing you have to do when creating a business account or your personal brand because if someone visits your profile, he can become your follower and eventually your customer. Here are the THINGS TO DO:

DP: Visibility in Profile Picture is really low and it's small, So choose a DP that stands out and is visible in that small circle. DP Lets people decide whether they should visit profile or not. It should be professional.

NAME: I suggest don't write your name in the NAME section, instead put the keywords of what you do for example Content Creator | IG Growth Expert because Instagram is becoming a search engine and if someone writes those keywords, your profile may show which increases
visibility.
