Sometimes a struggle...

A person does, an indefatigable struggle for their survival in this world. Sometimes s/he despairingly fails the war of life. Sometimes, s/he catches the rope of hope and defeats the war of life.
Sometimes, a person does inexhaustible struggle even his/her old bones are tired but doesn't despair, and continues his/her fight, sometimes against his/herself and sometimes against society.
Sometimes, a person has the courage and support of his/her family. In this world, everyone is struggling. Some are struggling for their dreams, some are struggling against their dreams and some are struggling for someone's else’s dreams. And spends his/her whole life in this struggle.
We should respect and give worth to everyone's struggle.

میں راکھ ہوتا گیا اور چراغ جلتا رہا
چراغ جلتا رہا آسماں پگھلتا رہا

میں بوند بوند جلا وصل کے کنارے پر
وہ لہر لہر بدن کروٹیں بدلتا رہا

لگی تھی آگ درختوں کے پار دریا میں
میں دیکھتا رہا اور آفتاب ڈھلتا رہا

بس ایک شام سر دشت کربلا اتری
پھر اس کے بعد گھروں سے علم نکلتا رہا

گلاب بہتا رہا خواہشوں کے پانی میں
ہوائیں چلتی رہیں اور دیا مچلتا رہا

عجب سفر تھا مرے اس کے درمیاں قیصرؔ
غبار اڑتا رہا اور ستارا چلتا رہا
