Scouts / Scouting

Scouts is a worldwide youth movement (like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts) that teaches life skills, teamwork, discipline, and leadership through outdoor activities.

Scouts often wear uniforms and follow a system of ranks or badges.

Activities include camping, hiking, survival skills, community service, first aid, cooking, and teamwork games.

The goal is to build confidence, responsibility, and respect for nature.

Camps (in Scouting or separately)

A camp is usually a trip (1 day to many days) where scouts live outdoors in tents or cabins.

They practice skills like fire-making, knot-tying, cooking outdoors, map reading, and group challenges.

Camps can be:

Day Camp – only during the day, return home at night.

Weekend Camp – 2–3 days outdoors.
