Twice, the rain came for Josh & Patch.
The first time was on their wedding day. The ceremony they had dreamed of beneath open skies was moved indoors as the rain poured without stopping. Like every couple, they had a picture in their minds of how everything would unfold. And like many of us, they learned that some of life’s most meaningful moments don’t always go according to plan.
Months later, they returned for a post-nup session, hoping to relive the moments they had imagined months before. But as the day approached, the rain came again. The clouds gathered. The forecast looked familiar. Yet somehow, in the middle of it all, they were given exactly what they needed. Not a perfect day. Not a cloudless sky. Just enough light. Just enough time. Just enough grace.
What makes this story even more special is where it unfolded. Surrounded by a place inspired by Noah’s Ark, a story remembered not for the storm itself, but for the faith that carried people through it, Josh & Patch found themselves standing in a beautiful reminder that storms have never had the final say. Long after the rain, what remains is God’s faithfulness, the love we choose, and the promises we hold onto.
For every couple planning a wedding this rainy season: the weather may not cooperate, timelines may change, and things may unfold differently than you imagined. But years from now, you won’t remember the forecast. You’ll remember the hand you held through it all.
And sometimes, that becomes the most beautiful part of the story ♡
