A meaningful week of faith, worship, and spiritual renewal unfolded at Max Mirafuentes Academy from July 27 to 31, 2026, as students, faculty, and staff gathered for this year's Week of Prayer with the theme "I Believe." Featuring inspiring messages from Pstr. John David Bastillada, the week served as a reminder of God's unfailing love, amazing grace, and the importance of trusting in His promises despite life's uncertainties. This video captures the memorable moments of worship, reflection, and spiritual growth shared throughout the week. As we move forward, may the message of "I Believe! Experiencing Grace upon Grace." continues to inspire us to deepen our faith, trust in God's perfect plan, and live each day with hope and confidence in Him.

As the Week of Prayer concluded on July 31, Maximinians gathered for one final worship experience, reflecting on the blessings and lessons they received throughout the week. The closing program served as a reminder to continue walking in faith, trusting in God's grace, and living with renewed purpose beyond the event.

Through the inspiring messages of Pastor John David Bastillada, students were reminded that although the Week of Prayer has come to an end their journey of faith should never stop. He encouraged everyone to continue seeking God, living by His Word, and allowing His grace to guide them each day, proving that faith is not limited to a single week but is a lifelong commitment.

A new chapter of student leadership officially began as the newly elected Student Government officers took their oath taking during the Induction Ceremony. The event marked a meaningful commitment to serve the student body with integrity, responsibility, and dedication while inspiring unity and excellence throughout the school community. As they accepted their roles, the officers embraced the opportunity to lead with purpose and make a positive impact in the academic year

“𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚, 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙢 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚.”

The final session of the Week of Prayer, led by Pastor John David Bastillada, reminded every Maximian that no matter where life takes us, Jesus is our true home. His love is constant, His arms are always open, and He is always ready to welcome us back. When we place our trust in Him, we will never be lost because His love will always lead us home.

As the Week of Prayer comes to an end, may the messages we have received remain in our hearts. May we continue to walk by faith, live with kindness, and remember that God's love never changes. Thank you, Pastor John David Bastillada, for sharing God's Word and inspiring every Maximian throughout this meaningful week. May the lessons we learned stay with us long after this Week of Prayer has ended.

“𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒅'𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓.”

The Afternoon Session of the Week of Prayer, led by Pastor John David Bastillado, reminded every Maximian that no mistake is too big for God's grace. Even when we feel guilty, ashamed, or left alone because of our sins, God never stops loving us and is always ready to forgive those who sincerely come to Him.

The message encouraged everyone to leave their burdens at the feet of Jesus and trust in His unfailing grace. No matter what we have done, God's mercy is greater than our failures, and His love gives us the chance to begin again.

“𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒏𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆.” 𝒀𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒎."

The Morning Session of the Week of Prayer, led by Pastor John David Bastillada, reminded every Maximian that there are moments when we feel alone and believe that no one is there for us. But even in those moments, Jesus is closer than we realize, always ready to help, comfort, and walk with us through every challenge.

The message encouraged everyone to trust in God's presence, even when life feels difficult. We may think we are facing our struggles alone, but Jesus never leaves our side. He is always there to give us strength, hope, and peace.

On July 29-30 2026, The Week of Prayer continued with uplifting Morning and Afternoon Sessions, bringing the school community together in worship, prayer, and reflection. Through this year's theme, "I Believe: Experiencing Grace Upon Grace," Pastor David John Bastillada reminded everyone of God's unfailing love and abundant grace, encouraging us to strengthen our faith and trust in Him each day.

As we move forward, may the lessons shared during these sessions inspire us to live with purpose, extend grace to others, and remain steadfast in our walk with Christ. May His Word continue to guide our hearts, minds, and actions beyond this Week of Prayer.

On July 29, 2026, Afternoon Session of the Week of Prayer, led by Pastor John David Bastillada, reminded every Maximian that we should never let shame keep us away from God. Instead of trying to fix everything on our own, we are invited to come to Jesus first, because He is always ready to forgive, restore, and guide us with His love.

The message encouraged everyone to place their trust in the Savior, knowing that no mistake is too great for His grace. When we come to Him with humble hearts, He gives us the strength to change, grow in faith, and begin again.
