Classes in all levels for both public and private schools in Taguig are suspended tomorrow, September 26, Monday.
PAGASA announced in its 5AM bulletin that KARDING has now intensified into a SUPER TYPHOON.
Metro Manila, including Taguig City is now under TCWS Signal No. 3. Severe weather is to be expected as early as this afternoon to last through the evening until early morning tomorrow, September 26, Monday.
WHAT TO DO DURING A TYPHOON
* STAY UPDATED
- Monitor the typhoon movement and weather updates through television, internet or radio.
* EXPECT POWER INTERRUPTIONS
- Keep the gadgets fully charged.
- In case brownout occurs, keep an eye on lighted candles or gas lamps.
* PROTECT YOUR HOME
- Keep all windows closed.
- Put important appliances and belongings in a high ground.
- Secure paper documents in your emergency kits.
* PREPARE FOR AN EVACUATION
- Evacuate calmly if you are advised to do so.
- Store canned goods or ready-to-eat food items and drinking water enough for 3 days.
