EDSA People Power Revolution (1986) was a peaceful protest in the Philippines where millions of Filipinos gathered along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) to demand change in the government. It happened from February 22 to 25, 1986, and led to the end of the 20-year rule of President Ferdinand Marcos.

People from different walks of life—students, workers, families, religious groups, and soldiers—stood together. Instead of violence, they used prayers, unity, and courage.

Because of this revolution:
•Corazon Aquino became president.
•Democracy was restored in the country.
•It became a symbol of peaceful change around the world.
