2018.

Gwapitos was only two years old when we had the opportunity to design the merch and banner for the newly born (and sadly no longer existing) PSCT — Philippines Surf Championship Tour, created by some of the legends of Philippine surfing.

Having our work up on the mythical Cloud 9 tower was such a huge achievement for us. It felt surreal.

The first leg, and the very first event of the tour, took place in September 2018 at Cloud 9, followed by Lanuza, La Union, and Baler. We were lucky enough to stay with the championship from its very first edition until the pandemic brought the tour to a halt.

And now, in 2026, Cloud 9 will host the highest level of professional surfing: the CT.

What a journey. What a privilege to have been part of it from the beginning. 🏄‍♂️🌊

All these moments were documented by the legendary photographer Mike Eijansantos from mylifeonboard — a friend for more than a decade and someone who has been there to capture so many chapters of our journey.
