Rise of Pax Silica

As we enter the era of advanced technology, that bring opportunities in education, business and communication. But alongside these benefits have important challenges or consequences like misinformation, cyber-security threats, data privacy concerns, and even the environmental impact of Al.

This progress should never be the threat of greater responsibility. Let us embrace innovation while building a better future through the responsible use of technology for the benefit of every Filipino.

PUYAT O GUTOM?

Upholding freedom of the press—for every Filipino

Today, we commemorate National Campus Press Freedom Day, recognizing the vital role of campus journalists in upholding truth, accountability, and responsible journalism. Through every article, photograph, editorial, and feature, student journalists continue to inform, inspire, and amplify the voices of their school communities.

In the Philippines, Republic Act No. 11440 declares July 25 of every year as National Campus Press Freedom Day, recognizing the importance of safeguarding the rights and welfare of campus journalists and reinforcing the freedom of the campus press.

As we celebrate this day, may we continue to champion ethical journalism, defend press freedom, and remain steadfast in our commitment to truth, integrity, and public service. As echoed in the Journalist's Creed, "𝙪𝙣𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣..."—a reminder that genuine journalism stands firm on facts, guided by integrity, and dedicated to serving the people.

Ending the week with grateful hearts and faithful spirits while beginning the month with God's grace and presence.

RCSPC celebrated its first Holy Mass for the School Year 2026–2027, bringing the school community together in prayer, thanksgiving, and reflection. May this Holy Mass strengthen our faith, deepen our relationship with God, and inspire us to walk in His light throughout the school year.

Together with the inspiring words of Rev. Fr. Jyryl John A. Esguerra:

"Sa piyak sang aton brokenness, yara si Lord para sa aton. Yara si Lord para buligan kita mag-grow kag mag-upod sa iya nga panglakaton."
He also taught us the meaning of "SSG"
"S- Study"
"S– Share"
"G– Grow"

May we continue to study with purpose, share with compassion, and grow in faith, wisdom, and service to God and one another.

In pursuit of fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 6, through the Provincial Women and Children Protection Desk (PWCPD), conducted a meaningful Lecture on Bullying in line with Republic Act No. 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 on June 29, 2026, Monday, at the Roxas City School for Philippine Craftsmen Gymnasium.

The activity, facilitated by PLT Sharon P. Odoms and PCpl Roline O. Digan, aimed to help learners understand the importance of respect, kindness, and responsibility while raising awareness about bullying and its different forms. Students also learned how to recognize and prevent bullying, as well as understanding the risks and effects of engaging in harmful substances such as illegal drugs, ci******es, and alcoholic beverages, emphasizing the importance of making safe and responsible choices.

Through this initiative, the PNP continues to strengthen awareness, promote safety, and encourage everyone to stand together in building a peaceful and inclusive learning environment.
