I thoroughly enjoy the intimacy of small yet earnest weddings, just like the one Raymond Ravelo and Christine Llanto had right before Christmas eve. Their civil ceremony was attended by 25 teary-eyed family members and their closest friends. A union long anticipated by the couple who had been together for 9 years.

Jason "P**o" Astete and Lianne Tauli's beach wedding was one of the most fun ceremonies we've had the privilege to photograph.

P**o is a bass guitarist for the rock band Kamikazee while Lianne is an educator and a proud Igorot. Their diverse backgrounds brought together an eclectic mix of guests. It was utterly refreshing to witness a delightfully carefree wedding celebration.

Our college friends Lesmes Solanoy and Arfie Koc got married, after 11 years, in a simple & elegant yet intimate ceremony surrounded by their closet friends and family. The no-fuss couple opted to buy their wedding outfits off the rack and the lovely Arfie (a make-up artist by profession) did her own fresh face. With the help of their friends, the couple's wedding was a laid back success! :)

My good friends Ivan Despi and Pauline Vicencio are finally tying the knot this December 2011! :) They spearhead the superb motion graphics studio Acid House. Ivan and Pauline are innovators in their creative field so we conceptualized a highly personalized shoot for them. We played around the theme neo-Filipiniana; mixing traditional with the contemporary. Injecting inspiration from their fondness for great music, art, coffee, and food, we created an ode to the couple's deep appreciation for their Filipino roots and their modern day romance. Mabuhay ang pag-ibig! :)

Travel-junkie couple, Ami Ong and Mike Francisco, decided to have their engagement session in one of their favorite beaches in Cagbalete Island in Quezon. Because of a typhoon, the wind and rain were unpredictably wild during the shoot but great company, good food, and love all around always trumps bad weather. :)

Ami loves to bake and brought tons of her yummy ensaymada along for the prenup shoot. My favorite was the quezo de bola flavor! Grab a bite of the most delightful ensaymadas at Mike and Ami's booth in Midnight Mercato! :)

I loved how Melay and Manix held hands and smiled genuinely at each other often. They didn't need much direction during the shoot because they were naturally affectionate towards each other. Whenever Melay would look at Manix, her face just lights up. And I even overheard Manix whisper to Melay how pretty she was! Aaawww... such a sweet couple! :)
