This year, I’m introducing the Signature Series — classic, painterly portraits that feel closer to fine art portraiture than traditional photography.

Using muted palettes, handmade canvas backdrops unique to the studio, and a balance of soft and dramatic lighting, each portrait explores presence through simplicity, texture, and control.

This is the kind of portrait you commission once in your pet’s lifetime — a legacy piece, captured once, and cherished for a lifetime.

Some fun facts about me and my dog, Callo! 🐾

I'm Cara and I’m a total introvert, which is exactly why I prefer dog models over humans. They don’t judge, they don’t do small talk, and they’re always down for a snack or two (or the whole plate, really).

I’m also quite the homebody, which is why I run my studio right from home. This allows for maximum comfort, zero rush, and plenty of patience for all the zoomies. My dog Callo will even be there to give you a "formal" greeting from behind the kitchen glass door when you arrive (IF barking counts as a proper hello).
