Environmental advocates gathered for Lakbay Kalikasan 2026 at La Mesa Nature Reserve in Quezon City this Saturday, April 18, 2026, in celebration of Earth Day. The event featured a 7-kilometer hike that promoted awareness on environmental protection and the importance of watershed conservation.

This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œOur Power, Our Planet,โ€ highlights how collective action can help protect and sustain our environment.

Tama ang nabasa mo โ€” kahit โ€œPink Moonโ€ ang tawag, hindi magbabago ang kulay ng Moon bilang PINK habang papunta ito sa full phase.

๐ŸŒธ Saan galing ang pangalang โ€œPink Moonโ€?
Hindi ito dahil nagiging pink ang Moon. Ang pangalan ay mula sa moss phlox, isang pink wildflower na namumulaklak tuwing spring sa North America. Meaning: pangalan lang โ€” hindi kulay.

At dahil North America-based ang origin ng name, hindi rin talaga ito applicable sa Pilipinas.

๐ŸŒซ๏ธ Pwede bang mag-iba ang kulay ng Moon?
Oo, pwedeng maging mapula, kahel, o medyo yellowish depende sa alikabok, usok, kapal ng hangin, o kaya sa baba ng Moon sa sky.
