Short Film #1 | “Gaano mo kagustong tumakas sa reyalidad?” | Film-O Records

The term “fallacy” is used even more broadly to indicate any false belief or cause of a false belief. We believe that an ice cream can solve our problems that's why alot of people eat ice cream as a comfort food where we can forget about our problem and just enjoy the moment.

Our advertisement shows that even after all the heartbreaking moments you just experience, you can easily solve and forget the problem by eating an ice cream.

But the truth is "healing from ones heartbreak takes time and effort" you can't just be okay after eating an ice cream, Yes it can be your comfort but only on a short amount of time. Healing takes time and efforts. It can take weeks, months or even years sometimes it even takes forever. Because no such thing can take your problem and make it just disappear. To be able to heal you need to accept the reality and just move forward, live your life even if its hard, take little steps that will help your self move on and always as for Gods guidance.

This is the first short film I made which introduced me to the beauty of filming. This was a school project for an advertisement which is an Ice Cream but the potential can be seen so I decided to share it with you guys.

UMAASA by Calein | Music Video Project #1 | Film-O Records Production

The captivating narrative unfolds around a young girl named "Ikay," whose tomboyish demeanor undergoes a transformation upon encountering "Kaze." Kaze, initially portrayed as a bully, unexpectedly forges a deep bond with Ikay, unbeknownst to their peers. As Ikay's affection for Kaze blossoms into love, she musters the courage to confess her feelings, she was "UMAASA" to be loved back, but Kaze refused her confession. Years later, Kaze returns to his hometown, haunted by the realization that he truly loved Ikay but was paralyzed by fear of commitment before departing abroad. Reflecting on their shared moments, Kaze encounters a changed Ikay, now devoted to serving God after waiting in vain for his return. Ikay's unwavering faith leads her down a different path, ultimately choosing the calling of God over the fleeting affection of a lost love.
