"Sunshine after the storm"
In 2025, Amin and Sunshine were supposed to begin their forever. The plans were set, dreams carefully counted—BUT life asked Amin to choose, and he chose without question. His mother grew ill, and the money meant for the wedding was spent on her medications. Sunshine never complained. She only held his hand and told him they could wait.
A year later, in 2026, the long-awaited wedding finally arrived. Sunshine, knowing the weight Amin carried, gently eased the burden of the dowry, asking for simplicity instead of excess. She wanted a marriage built on love, not pressure. Her understanding made Amin breathe a little easier, even as grief sat quietly in his chest.
His mother did not live to see her son become a groom, and the joy of the day was softened by her absence. Yet, as Amin stood beside Sunshine, he felt both loss and gratitude—grateful for a woman who understood sacrifice, and for a love patient enough to survive sorrow. In that union, grief and devotion met, and something enduring was born.
