Hosted in Pagadian Cityโs PCIC - BSTM Workshop Room, the event explored Pastilโs historical roots, variations across regions, and its special place in the heart of local students and residents. ๐

Participants got hands-on experience in preparing Pastil, from cooking the flavorful kagikit (meat filling) to mastering the traditional banana leaf wrap. Each group brought energy and creativity to the activity, learning the nuances of cooking this iconic dish.

Taking Pastil to new heights, each group brainstormed fresh twists by incorporating new ingredients and cooking techniques. From fusion flavors to modern toppings, participants showcased the endless possibilities in elevating traditional Filipino food.
The seminar-workshop was more than just an event; it was a celebration of Pagadian City's vibrant cultural heritage and a platform for discussing its future in the context of tourism, tradition, and transformation.
