Spearheaded by the Homeroom Family Council of Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School. We are encouraging all Josephian parents to a special Lenten Recollection led by 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑮. 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔 𝑱𝒓. 𝑫.𝑫.

With the Theme "𝑺𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚" this spiritual gathering promises to be a time of reflection, renewal, and deepening of our faith.

We, The JOSEPHIAN are aiming for a safe space for everyone and we are with the National Bullying Prevention Campaign who are still fighting to end Bullying.

If you are being bullied, please know that you are not alone. There are people who care about you and want to help. Talk to a trusted adult, like a parent, teacher, counselor and your discipline officer. You can also reach out to a national bullying prevention organization for support.

In any competition, someone loses and someone wins. Not on all occasions do we feel in control of the situation. So, for those who are feeling rock bottom...

HERE ARE 5 WAYS TO COPE WITH POST-ELECTION GRIEF:

1. Know Kübler-Ross’ 5 STAGES OF GRIEF:
Denial. Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance

2. ACCEPT mental & physical effects of loss are REAL.
You gotta feel the grief so you can heal - be sad, angry, anxious, frustrated, hopeless. Understand specifically what made you feel angry or upset.

3. SUPPORT one another.
Surround yourself with friends, family, or relatives who can comfort you. Share your thoughts with people who have the same views as yours. Remember not to take it too personally, as you may lose friends along the way. Figure out how this loss changed what you think is important as you move forward.

4. GIVE back.
When feeling hopeless or out of control, channel your energy to supporting charities or causes. Help make this country a better place with your good deeds instead.

5. SEEK Support.
If you have no one to talk to, see a psychologist who is ready, willing, and able to assist you with whatever feelings or issues this election cycle has brought up for you. Time to focus on self-improvement, perhaps?
