The Tottori Sand Museum in Japan showcases breathtaking sand sculptures crafted by artists from around the world, with a new theme each year. Located near the famous Tottori Sand Dunes, it offers a unique and temporary art experience. I visited with excitement, took plenty of photos, and I’m excited to share a few of them here!

The Kanmon Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Kanmon Strait, connecting Kitakyushu (Fukuoka Prefecture) and Shimonoseki (Yamaguchi Prefecture). It’s approximately 1.2 km long and stands 47 meters above the water. A well-known regional landmark, the bridge offers stunning views on clear days, you can even see Tsushima Island in the distance. A visit is highly recommended if you're in the area.

Just 15 minutes by ferry from Kagoshima City, Sakurajima rises from Kinko Bay. A living volcano, often gently smoking against the sky.

Once an island, it became part of the Osumi Peninsula after a massive 1914 eruption. Today, it's one of Japan’s most active volcanoes, quietly reminding visitors of nature’s power.

Even from the ferry, the view is unforgettable. Sakurajima isn’t just a destination. It's an experience.
