Hi!
This our family's small business. It has been running for nearly 29 years now, even before my father met 💏 my mother (Ester)...(IDK, maybe?)
But yes, we 👩👦👨👧 can assure you our expertise. 😁
My father(Bart) started the business as soon using humble Nikon 📷 professional camera as soon as he finished a vocational course in Photography. Thanks to some of his helpful friends, he acquired the skills to become a videographer 🎥 and an editor for video-credits. 📼 But since he has always been artistically inclined, he did a few paint jobs in his younger days, which includes Old-school photo editing. 🎨
Back in the day, he used a very expensive Kodak palettes with a thin paint brush with the tiniest bristles to hand-paint 🎨 blemishes on portraits and blow-ups(the struggle was real!). Also used some so called "soft-lenses"(not so effective on horrible cases 😁) to eliminate those unwanted breakouts. But as technology evolves, those practices has been replaced by high powered camera lenses, filter applications and Photoshop editors which he gradually and patiently learned(with a bit of help from yours truly) to deal with despite of his weakening vision and old age.
There was a time that digital passport photos was being declined (one of the reasons we kept manual developing) because photos are only legit and acceptable for Passports if they were developed through photo chemicals -which require skills to use, are expensive and hard to find these days(but of course, Kodak studios already exist then). But then again, that method has been changed since he make-and-master everything now, Digitally. (Sweet!)😎
Sorry for the long post. This is just to say that I am proud of my father's works and since its the season for Dads, again Papa, Happy Fathers' Day. 😘.
