The room was silent, but my thoughts refused to be. Every mistake I had ever made echoed through my mind, every unanswered question demanded an answer, and every fear grew louder the longer I tried to ignore it. I searched for peace in the quiet, but somehow the loudest noise had always been inside me. My mind became the loudest room, and I didn't know how to find the exit.
Then I realized that not every thought deserved to be believed. Some were born from fear, others from pain, and many from wounds that had never truly healed. Little by little, I learned that peace doesn't come from silencing every thought. It comes from choosing which voices deserve my attention. The moment I stopped fighting every thought, my heart finally remembered what quiet felt like.
