We are Colove Studios, a team of arthouse visual storytellers and imagemakers. We think it’s cool to relive the oldschool film look as we try to pay homage to the classics. We believe that there is a way to do justice to all of the weird and wonderful things that happen at a wedding. We may look like a quirky team but we value the simplicity of raw emotion and candid intimacy. Your story is the heart of our photograph. We spy on every little details and we strive to create deep connection in producing genuine imagery. We capture a lot of our couples spontaneously, candidly, and in a photojournalistic manner. We only give direction when it’s called for, and always in a collaborative way. We deliver shots that bare your soul, with your mask gently removed. We make photos that’ll outlive us all. No matter what kind of shoot that is, our lenses are aimed squared towards the souls of people - catching your spirit leaping out of your core when you laugh, when you cry, when you embrace…complete with the alcohol spills, awkward dances, and gummy smiles. We trigger deep feelings. I’m sure you’ve heard about “all things cinematic, timeless, and eye candy visuals” from others, but we don’t make marketing promises here. We stand for honest images, filled with unique details in an ode to celebrate you and your loved ones altogether. They say God writes the chapters we never could have dreamed up ourselves. Look at where a simple “café date” of Kiko helping Grex clean a coffee shop led them..

Even with the rain pouring down on their ceremony, there was no shaking their peace. The world outside was loud and wet, but between the two of them, their faith and the warmth of Jesus’ love kept everything perfectly still. It was as if the downpour was just Heaven’s way of rushing in to bless a love that has always been rooted in faith.

No fuss, just a room overflowing with happy tears, and great stories over live music with everyone who has loved them from the very beginning.

Some weddings are not measured by the number of guests in attendance, but by the meaning shared among those who are present.

On the shores of Batangas, Oliver and Steph chose to begin their marriage surrounded by only eight of their closest loved ones. Intimate, intentional, and deeply personal, their elopement was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are often the simplest.

And then came Dustin, not as a knight in shining armor type of romance, but as an answered prayer, literally. The peace that Ana had prayed for through novena, finally standing in front of her in human form. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was timing, or maybe even technology had something to do with it. After all, it all began with one swipe right and a match that felt strangely certain from the start, steady and effortless in a way neither of them had to question.

Through it all, they found in each other something simple and sure. Comfort on hard days, and a sense of calm that made everything feel lighter even in moments of doubt.

Their garden wedding came with heavy rain, but they chose to continue with full hearts and faith. And just like their story, the rain eventually gave way to sunlight. Gathered around the people they love most, Ana and Dustin celebrated a love that was patient, gentle, and always meant to find its way home.

Thank you, Dustin and Ana, for always allowing us to be part of your biggest life celebrations. Congratulations!🥂

This is only the second time we’ve documented a story like this,
and it reminds us that love, in any form, is always worth celebrating.
