Sophirat Muangkum
Bangkok, Thailand
Sophirat Muangkum (born 1983, Thailand) is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by personal stories, nature, and subcultures. Through her creative journey, she explores questions about the meaning of life, using art as a medium to better understand both herself and the world around her.
Her work has been exhibited in Thailand and internationally. Her most recent solo exhibition, Decentralized Thainess(2024), was held at 333 Gallery (Warehouse 30) in Bangkok. Other notable exhibitions include Ecopsychology (Objectifs – Centre for Photography and Film, Singapore, 2019), The Future is Nakid (Innerspace, USA, 2020), Hysteria (Toot Yung Art Center, Chiang Mai, 2021), Interpreters (Museum of Contemporary Art, Thailand, 2022), and the Bangkok Art Biennale(BACC, 2024–2025).
In addition to her artistic practice, Sophirat is also an independent curator with a strong interest in emerging artists. She has curated the Phayao Photography Biennale (2021–2022 and 2025) at Artcade in Phayao Province, and the group exhibition Chiang Mai Blooms City Gallery (2023) at the Chiang Mai House of Photography.
Her works are part of several prominent collections, including MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum (Thailand), the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok (MOCA), Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation and various private collections.
In 2025, Sophirat was recognized as one of the 100 changemakers on The Future List, curated by Koktail Magazine, which honors individuals shaping the future through their unique contributions.

โศภิรัตน์ ม่วงคำ (เกิด พ.ศ. 2526 ประเทศไทย) เป็นศิลปินอิสระที่ฝึกฝนตนเอง โดยผลงานของเธอได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเรื่องราวส่วนตัว ธรรมชาติ และวัฒนธรรมย่อยหลากหลายรูปแบบ ตลอดเส้นทางการทำงานศิลปะ เธอใช้ศิลปะเป็นสื่อในการสำรวจและตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับความหมายของชีวิต เพื่อทำความเข้าใจตนเองและโลกที่รายล้อมอยู่ให้ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น
ผลงานของเธอได้รับการจัดแสดงทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ นิทรรศการเดี่ยวล่าสุดของเธอ Decentralized Thainess (2024) จัดขึ้นที่ 333 Gallery (Warehouse 30) กรุงเทพมหานคร นิทรรศการสำคัญอื่น ๆ ได้แก่ Ecopsychology (Objectifs – Centre for Photography and Film, สิงคโปร์, 2019), The Future is Nakid (Innerspace, สหรัฐอเมริกา, 2020), Hysteria(Toot Yung Art Center, เชียงใหม่, 2021), Interpreters (Museum of Contemporary Art, ประเทศไทย, 2022) และ Bangkok Art Biennale (หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร, 2024–2025)
นอกเหนือจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ โศภิรัตน์ยังทำงานในฐานะภัณฑารักษ์อิสระ โดยให้ความสนใจเป็นพิเศษกับศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ เธอเป็นภัณฑารักษ์ของ Phayao Photography Biennale (2021–2022 และ 2025) ณ Artcade จังหวัดพะเยา และนิทรรศการกลุ่ม Chiang Mai Blooms City Gallery (2023) ณ หอภาพถ่ายล้านนา (Chiang Mai House of Photography) จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
ในปี 2025 เธอได้รับการคัดเลือกเป็นหนึ่งใน 100 Changemakers on The Future List โดย Koktail Magazine ซึ่งเชิดชูบุคคลผู้สร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงและขับเคลื่อนสังคมผ่านผลงานของตนเอง
