POV: A day in my life as a furbaby 🐾

Today, I went to The Furr Project Animal Hospital for my 3rd Cytopoint injection. Not exactly my favorite part of the day, but I was a very good girl!

Thank you po for my new kibbles, Dr. Healmedics Pure Protein from Doc Lina S. Policarpio, CEO of PetSpecialists Corp. It’s hypoallergenic and made with hydrolyzed protein, perfect for a sensitive girl like me.

Growing up around the lakes and highlands of Cavinti, Laguna, Banca the asong gubat or Philippine forest dog spent her days climbing, swimming, and visiting the guests at a local cabin, where () first encountered her in July.

Now living comfortably in Shaira’s 10-dog household, the young pup is easily twice the size of the rest of her pack. Still, it doesn’t stop her from giving visitors full body hugs, as she understands that she is finally, fully at home.

For Vogue Philippines’ inaugural cover, the Filipina photographer lenses her rescue, whom she pulled from a life-threatening wound. Found with a chain embedded in her neck, Banca is now well on the road to recovery; a journey made possible through numerous phone calls, a photography team, an animal whisperer, and more than a couple bangka (boat) rides.

🚨CASE UPDATE :

Following the viral video involving Hart Yu on September 13, the barangay immediately sought guidance from the Municipal Police of Lemery and coordinated with the barangay authorities regarding the appropriate action.

The incident and videos are currently under review, with the matter awaiting the proper police referral and investigation process.

Meanwhile, Hart Yu has been summoned to the barangay to explain his side and discuss the incident.

THE 2 DOGS ARE SAFE. A video update on the two dogs were posted by another group.

Let this case be a reminder: compassion is not optional, and accountability must follow every act of cruelty.
