remain unanswered.

I no longer need every reason,

every explanation,

or every apology
to move forward.

Some doors
were never meant to reopen.

Some truths
were never meant to find me.

So I’ll stop searching
for what refuses to be found,
and start making peace
with the silence that remains.

i think the saddest part about growing up is realizing nobody is coming to save you. The version of you that’s exhausted, scared, and overwhelmed still has to wake up and keep going tomorrow.
