2 days to go before the Fujifilm NPVW 2026!!

This Kaptambay episode is a timely one.

Last Saturday, JG Academy and JG Superstore held the Art of Street Photography Workshop by Jasper Tejano at JG Superstore, The Annex, SM North Edsa

We’d like to extend our big thanks for creating an opportunity for artists to gain new knowledge, sharpen their skills, and put what they learned into practice through an on the spot photowalk.

We deeply support initiatives like this as they encourage Kreating, Konnecting, and Kultivating.

Through Kapture MNL, photographers were given the opportunity to participate in this inspiring workshop and photowalk. We’re excited to see how this experience will help build your skills, perspective, and kreative journey.

Today, we’re not only featuring Brian Lanuza. We’re also excited to announce that he is the very first KAPTURE KAMPUS ISKOLAR!

For this initiative, we were looking for someone whose work could benefit from a more advanced approach to photography, particularly in photobook and zine making. Our selection was based on the cohesiveness of the submitted body of work, as well as Brian’s answers to the questions in his application.

After going through the entries, we felt that Brian’s work and perspective stood out.

Kongratulations, Brian! We’re excited to see where this opportunity takes your work and how you’ll continue to develop your voice through photography.

And to everyone who applied, thank you for trusting Kapture MNL with your work and your stories.

This is only the beginning. There will be more Kapture Kampus opportunities, more learning sessions, and more chances for our Kapture Community to grow together.

Last Saturday, We had a successful event at the Pokus Photo Class. We would like to thank Lucky Chinatown for collaboration and opportunity to Kreate, Konnect and Kultivate. It was heartwarming to see participants from Chiang Kai Shek, along with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, actively participating. Their enthusiasm to learn and develop their photography skills throughout the event was very inspiring.

Everything comes with a pair—joy and sorrow, light and shadow, a man and a woman, a boy and a girl. Among the infinite pairs life offers, we eventually find a partner.

A house becomes a home through shared lives, built with love and sacrifice, hunger and abundance, laughter, smiles, and tears. It is a life that should never fall out of balance.

Working hand in hand, togetherness is what keeps a home standing. In every moment, we were never meant to walk life’s journey alone.
