Paper Visions is an outlet for me to be able to express myself through the images I capture and the articles I publish. I'm still learning and every experience is an opportunity to try something new and grow from it. There are going to be a lot of difficulties up ahead, but I'm game to take on new challenges.

Here we have another artist that I have been seeing and following for quite some time now. Particularly, I have been seeing their Beep card skins everywhere! And as someone who loves to customize their own everyday usage items into objects of beauty, I was so thrilled to finally have one of Jinx Birder Designs's artwork on my own Beep card 🩷

Quite the honour to have also interviewed him about his story, his inspiration, and hearing many of his tales of bird watching throughout. They all sound like quite the adventure, indeed 🐦

I have another vlog in the works already featuring the Beep card skin I got from him and I am so glad to be able to use it almost on the daily and seeing how brightly vibrant it is. Makes me smile more often during my commute.

I've been seeing this particular cat art out in public for a long time now and I think it was a few months ago when I stumbled upon a gallery in 1111 at Poblacion featuring the many art works of Marius Black 🩷

It is an honour to be able to interview him and his background when it came to his art. I even got myself an art booklet from him featuring Manila street scenes that remind me of why I love street photography so much.

Lovely to know where the famous cat painting originated from and how it came to be. I'm sure y'all have seen a painting of his cat somewhere at some point. I have come across his booth multiple times in the past during various art markets, Komiket included 🐱

If y'all are into street photography or scenes of the daily lives of people around you, y'all will like his many other paintings and they're lovely to have on display. The intricate details are one worth admiring 🩷

Felt naturally drawn to dudayism ★ messy playground club’s booth during the previous Komiket Pasig last month. The colours and the art style are just so endearing that I spent quite awhile perusing through her entire catalogue 🩷

Funny thing that happened was that I thought I was looking at a display piece for one of her artworks featuring an orange. I even picked it up for a closer inspection, and I didn’t realise that I was holding a piece that a fellow customer was about to buy and already had it in their cart till they brought it to my attention 😅 We had a laugh and she even said “I know right?!” Implying both of our shared interest in that specific art piece 🍊

We’re back to the place where it all started for me with art bazaars. Komiket in Ayala The 30th was my first ever art market two years ago and that was during Pride as well. It was also a spontaneous choice to attend and participate after I saw the banner on Instagram and our former office was just nearby.

Last month, we came back to The 30th for Komiket Pasig 2026 and I had a lovely time perusing around the venue and being able to interview a couple of artists that I have been following for awhile now after seeing their artworks out in public. Also, always a treat to see and reunite with friends and familiar faces that we haven’t seen in quite awhile. It was a much needed time for me to go outside after the constant lashing of heavy rain around that time period.

Thank you to Komiket for organising a space like this for artists to showcase their talents in a variety of products and mediums and for making it accessible to a wider audience as well 🩷 For more information on where their next event will be, please go check on their social media pages and mayhaps we’ll see each other there if the stars align. What a weekend 🧡 Met up with a dear friend from our former workplace and talked about our past and current lives, partook in good food and drinks, and walked around while the conversation kept going.

Yesterday, which was when this photograph was taken by another Dearest friend of mine, we learned and was reminded about how to be expressive. This was during an event that finally took place after months of planning it and even being rescheduled.

The sun set on a successful day filled with an appreciation for dear friends and life in general. The golden hue imbued the space with a tinge of hope that I could hold onto and always look back on. It was glorious 🩷

A favourite shot of mine featuring Ms Jade Ystar 💫 from last Sunday at Hoesik MNL. It was an incredible number! ⭐ Loved every moment of it and their usage of the stage lights is magical! I love when artists incorporate their environment into their performances.

I wish I could've taken more images, but there were too many lazers all around and TBH, I got lucky with this one since I just took out my camera and snapped the photograph immediately. The timing was perfect 🩷 The resulting image felt emotionally raw and striking, definitely!

Prince Sam Ibanez's mashup sing-along performance during last Sunday at Hoesik MNL was just phenomenal! You wouldn't even know what was coming next. Gurl, such a highlight of the night. It was highly interactive for everyone and it was HILARIOUS! 😆😆😆

Because you never knew what song was going to be next. It was really creative, but at the same time, the crowd could just join in at any time and it was massively entertaining 🩷 A favourite of mine for that night, for sure! Applause Ms Wanda! Applause 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
