Ayon sa Batas Pambansa 880, kinakailangang kumuha ng isang permit para magtipon sa isang pampublikong lugar, maliban na lamang kung:
-Ang lugar ng pagtitipon ay isang โ€˜FREEDOM PARKโ€™
-Ang lugar ay pribado ang pagmamay-ari

Kung nagdaos ng isang pagtitipon na walang kaukulang permit mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaan, maaari itong i-disperse ng mga awtoridad sa mapayapang paraan.

A suspected contact of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) voluntarily submitted illegal weapons and explosives to the Military Community Support Sustainment Team (MCSST) of the 17th Infantry (DO or DIE) Battalion led by Lt. Col. Alfie R. Sagario on the night of May 15, 2026.

Among the turned weapons were one (1) homemade shotgun, one (1) homemade carbine rifle with magazine and ammunition, one (1) homemade pistol, and several pieces of high-explosive rifle grenades.

According to the military, the peaceful surrender is the result of their intensified communication and localized peace-building efforts in the community that strengthen the people's trust in the government. The weapons are currently in the custody of the unit for documentation, while the 17th IB once again called on the other members of the CTG to return for peace and to be with their loved ones safely.
