While the family was in Binondo, Chinatown Manila on the Chinese New Year, we came along this wonderful hidden gem of a café. . Named after Gukeng (古坑), a rural township in Yunlin County, Taiwan, often referred to as the "hometown of coffee". The name translates to "ancient pit/ravine," reflecting its mountainous, valley-filled geography. It is renowned for its locally grown coffee.

They serve not just coffee. Had our breakfast here at this modest café.
