I was raised by a father who was a tricycle driver and a full-time housewife mother. Growing up on Olango Island, sending your children off to college was very tough. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship so I could attend in college, and my mother would always tell me,"๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐" and that sentence pushes me to study hard. My mother taught me the value of education. She used to tell me how she wanted she could even finish the first year of high school, but her poverty has destroyed her hopes. She only made it through elementary. My parents have an unfortunate yet motivating story about how they wished ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ด๐ฌ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ข ๐ด๐ช๐ญ๐ข ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฅ ๐ด๐ข ๐ค๐ฐ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ช๐ด๐ข๐ฏ ๐ด๐ข ๐ฉ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ ๐ด๐ค๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ฏ๐จ. My dreams have become a part of theirs. Their unfulfilled ambition to attend school has inspired me to finish college.๐จโ๐๐
Education was not my ideal career path. It's my parents' choice. It wasn't about what I wanted; rather, it was about making my family happy and proud, but I try to see the good in everything, and I believe that my calling will be teaching. However, passing the LET is the most frustrating part."๐ด๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฆ!" ๐
So, I took the LET last October, and I kept everything secret, even from my family, closest friends, colleagues, and relatives. I have that low confidence: "๐๐พ, ๐๐ ๐๐โ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐-๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐๐!" and took two months of preparation. Tan aw ras youtube ni Sir Melvin Buracho, studying while working. And the nerve-wracking part here is that TLE exams are difficult major at all secondary levels, difficult to do and causing a lot of worry and anxiety.
