I first collaborated with in 2020 for the Final Edition of the 50 Fathoms book series. Then the 5th Ave boutique was dressed up with my photos for World Oceans Day in 2021. After a while, I was invited to become a brand ambassador just in time to wear my new piece underwater in my favorite place in the world: The Revillagigedo Archipelago.
When you are a watch person you know how much of a big deal this is. The oldest watch brand in the world and a reference in ocean commitment. Swiss pedigree at its finest.

Last Saturday I witnessed a mother's love at full swing when this gray whale gave everything she had to protect her calf, and succeeded. It was supposed to be a relaxed weekend on my boat hanging out with humpback whales, until we spotted a pod of very elusive orcas. After losing them for an hour we kept on following them until, come dusk, they decided to go after a baby gray whale. The mother held the calf on her back while fighting off the 6 orcas and putting herself at risk. I'm not going to lie, I was rooting for Momma, and after half an hour, exhausted, she finally managed to fend them off. Nature's rawness will never cease to amaze me.
