Created a faithful replica of the Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario de Halayhay, one of the obscure and lesser-known Marian images in Cavite. The original painting is venerated in a seaside barrio in Tanza, Cavite, and is believed to be among the oldest surviving paintings of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in the province.

I personally painted the image on canvas, recreating the aged wood appearance, patina, and worn textures, I also crafted a frame matching the exact dimensions of the original.

Since the original painting cannot be removed from its existing frame, I commissioned a protective casing that fits inside the main frame, with a rear access door, inspired by the arrangement of the Nuestra Señora de la Soledad de Porta Vaga.

I initially considered improving the design, but ultimately chose restraint. Adding too much would compromise the purpose of a faithful replica. Sometimes, preserving the original character means knowing what not to change.

This replica wold be given to a dear friend of mine that has been helping me with my photography project and i think he truly deserve this
