Abdul Wahab ibn Sulayman ibn Ali, the father of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (the founder of the Wahhabi movement), was a Hanbali scholar who disagreed with his son's views and policies. Together with some of his teachers, he warned the local community to be cautious of his son's interpretations, predicting that he would lead people astray.
Public Warning: Along with his other son, Sulayman ibn Abdul Wahhab, they tried to warn the people of Najd against listening to Muhammad's new teachings.
