Last August 21, our aspiring youth leaders took their first swing into the 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 2026!

With the theme “𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆,” Day 1 focused on the knowledge and skills needed to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and turn responsibility into action.

Congratulations to our very own La Medalla-Community Red Cross Youth Council Vice President, Ate Franchezka Aeya Manaog for swinging the victory at the Chapter-Wide Leadership Training Program conducted on August 21-22, 2026.

Just like Spider-Man, you led with courage, kindness, and heart. Your dedication inspires us all to keep serving and leading with purpose. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear the RCY uniform, lead with heart, and inspire everyone around them.

Today, August 18, 2026, the La Medalla Community Red Cross Youth Council had its first meeting with the newest members of the council, Batch Renuevo, at the La Trinidad, Iriga City Barangay Hall.

We spent the meeting catching up and talking about the recently concluded YVFC, sharing feedback and realizations, discussing membership and the official absorption of our new members, and going over the activities and trainings ahead.

From being trainees to becoming part of the council—welcome, Batch Renuevo! 🫡❤️

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗, 𝗪𝗘𝗕-𝗦𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦! 🕷️🕸️❤️‍🔥

After two days of learning, teamwork, laughter, and new experiences, our 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 (𝗬𝗩𝗙𝗖) has officially come to an end! ❤️🤍

The 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 successfully concluded the final day of our 2-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗬𝗩𝗙𝗖 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, where our young volunteers continued to learn, participate, and discover what it means to be part of the movement. ⛑️🤝

This training would not have been possible without the people who shared their time, effort, and support with us.

A heartfelt 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to our 𝘼𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙪𝙮𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 who guided our participants throughout the training. Thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, and energy with us. You made the experience more fun and meaningful! 🫶🏻❤️

Just like Spider-Man, every hero starts somewhere. And last 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 15, 2026, our young volunteers took their first step toward becoming heroes—not by swinging through the city, but by choosing to 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚, 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.
