Before we celebrate at the ZBL Season One Awards Night and Victory Party, let's take one more look at the game that made history. 🏀🔥

In a winner-take-all championship showdown, Smooth Guys defeated the Maliao Slashers, 94-83, to become the first-ever champions of the Zabmarine League.

Powered by Alvin Cagud's 35-point performance and backed by a packed Brgy. Buga Multipurpose Gym, Smooth Guys rose to the occasion and claimed the championship series, 2-1. From the opening tip-off to the final buzzer, the night was filled with passion, intensity, and unforgettable moments.

This wasn't just a championship game.

IN PHOTOS: Maliao Slashers forced a winner-take-all Game 3 after surviving Smooth Guys, 79-76, in a tense and physical Game 2 of the Zabmarine League 2026 Championship Series. 🏀

With their backs against the wall, the Slashers answered every Smooth Guys rally and held their composure in the closing minutes to even the series at 1-1 inside a jam-packed Brgy. Buga Multipurpose Gym. The crowd witnessed another intense championship battle filled with clutch baskets, hustle plays, and nonstop energy from both squads.

And tonight, the stage is officially set for 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 — one last game, winner takes all. 👑⚡

What looked like anyone’s game until the final seconds turned into an unforgettable plot twist as Smooth Guys delivered the final blow right before the buzzer sounded. The intense back-and-forth battle kept the crowd on their feet from start to finish.

With the clutch win, Smooth Guys officially punch their ticket to the Championship Round of Zabmarine League 2026.
