A Touch of Faith at the Shrine of Candelaria
A beautiful moment of devotion, captured on camera. 🙏
Carried in her father's arm, a young girl reaches out her hands to touch the miraculous image of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria on the balcony facade of Jaro Cathedral. Though her small hands meet the protected glass barrier, the timeless connection remain. This revered shrine has looked over generations of Ilonggos since the church was built in 1874. In the eyes of a child, the ancient tradition continues.
