Despite DepEd’s national policies in regulating AI use in schools, fear often leads teachers to restrict AI, forcing students to use it in secret. Policy on paper does not automatically reach every student. This is where Miss Iligan 2026 top 8 Finalist Micah Marie Indab's Project KAIYA comes into play. Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence for Youth Advancement. It brings AI literacy directly to the grassroots of Iligan City through hands-on bootcamps for both students and educators.

Through the pages of TagaBookid, the younger generation of the Higaonon tribe in Iligan City learns the spirit of the IPRA Law — told in short stories that preserve identity, rights, and culture. With the vision of Miss Iligan 2026 candidate Yve Kay Francisco, representing the SK Federation of Iligan City, this advocacy blossomed into a movement, earning her the Beauty With a Purpose award.

Made possible through the lens of Arkai Productions and the support of the SK Federation of Iligan City, this is more than an advocacy, it’s a legacy of preservation and education.
