A rising star from the Bicol Region is gearing up for the biggest fight of his career. John Carlo Peralta, hailing from Gubat, Sorsogon, has been on a tear, clinching gold at the recent Regional PRISAA 2026. Now, the young boxer sets his sights on the national stage at the PRISAA National Games 2026 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

Peralta will look to make his mark among the country's top athletes from May 8-15, 2026. Will this be the breakout moment for the hometown hero? The Sorsoganon is rallying behind him.
