MAYON WEARING ‘SALAKOT’

Here’s a stunning photo of Mayon Volcano in Albay province with lenticular clouds that look like the traditional, wide-brimmed hat locally known as “salakot.”

Photo was taken around 5:30 a.m. of July 1 at Bicol International Airport by Angelo Fulgar.

“Before we board the aircraft. Always so stunning. Mt. Mayon wearing salakot,” Fulgar said in a Facebook post.
