Wildlife Encounter | Monkey inside the cage

This monkey sits behind cold steel bars, a prisoner of human decisions. Once, he belonged to the forest, climbing trees, tasting fruits, and hearing the chorus of nature. Now, his world is reduced to concrete floors and metal cages. His hands grip the bars not out of curiosity, but out of longing for a freedom he remembers.
Captivity strips animals of their instincts. The monkey no longer leaps through branches or plays with his family. Instead, he waits for food, for attention, for something to break the monotony. His eyes reflect a silent plea, but most passersby see only entertainment, not suffering. The sad reality is that countless monkeys like him are taken from their homes for zoos, roadside attractions, or illegal pet trades. Their lives become shadows of what they should have been, their spirits dulled by confinement. The cage is not just metal; it is a symbol of lost freedom, lost family, and lost dignity.
