From nearly 200 photographs of 20 candidates, the journey to selecting our CCD Ms. Photogenic was anything but simple.

Behind the final result is a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation conducted by members of the Camera Club of Davao—proudly the city’s longest-running photography organization with 43 years of excellence. Each image was carefully reviewed, shortlisted, and judged through a structured process that balanced impact, visual quality, and technical ex*****on.

What emerged was not just a winning photo, but a collective decision shaped by experience, discipline, and a shared commitment to photographic standards.

This is more than a title—it is the result of an exhaustive and credible selection process, where every frame was given its due, and only the most compelling image rose to the top.

These are the frames I took from the Camera Club of Davao — Mutya ng Davao photoshoot. The moments that spoke to me behind the lens. None, unfortunately, made it to the final five, but the experience stayed with me. Being part of a process rooted in care, discipline, and respect for the craft reminded me that growth often happens offstage. I’m sharing these not for recognition, but for the lessons, the humility, and the love for photography that keep me going. A personal tribute to the Davaoeña spirit this Araw ng Dabaw.
