ISOLATION

I don’t belong where wildflowers bloom,
On sunlit hills that chase the gloom,
Where tree leaves dance in breezy air,
And butterflies glide without a care.

Where dragonflies flit in a golden trance,
And waves and birds in chorus dance
That gentle world is not my way,
I dwell where light keeps far at bay.

I tend to sit in a shadowed cave,
Where silence echoes from the grave,
Where ancient sorrow softly cries,
And hope, if found, in silence dies.

I stay where lions guard their den,
With growls that shake the bones of men,
With witches near and beasts as guide
In darker realms, I choose to bide.

IN DIFFERENT FONTS

Moths are butterflies too, yet butterflies bask in love and praise,
Colorful palettes that catch the eye,
While moths wear muted tones, in earthy grays.
Their beauty is often overlooked, as they silently fly.

With bodies streamlined, butterflies dance in the light,
While moths, more robust, flit through the night.
In stories and idioms, butterflies take flight,
Symbols of affection, of beauty, and delight.

They grace our pictures, a vibrant display,
While moths linger in shadows, often kept at bay.
Feared for their dust, a misconception at play,
Yet both are wonders of nature, in their own unique way.

So let us embrace both, in all their arrays,
For in the heart of the night, and the warmth of the day,
Moths and butterflies, in their delicate sway,
Remind us of beauty, come what may.

Comfort in the Gloom 🖤

It was a gloomy, dark day when a person woke up and rushed to open the window. "Oh, no sunshine today," they sighed. This person loved summer when flowers bloomed and butterflies danced. They cherished the green leaves of spring and the cheerful songs of birds.
Once, they felt like a bright yellow, a safe and warm candle in the dark, a hearth that brought comfort during cold seasons. They were like a sunflower, adored by many, or a lemon providing vitamin C for protection.
But as time passed, that yellow faded to white, mixed with the salty tears of sadness, leaving behind a stain of black. Yet, in this gloom, they discovered happiness. Now, even on stormy days filled with thunder and heavy rain, they found joy in the sound of raindrops, embraced the cold mist, and marveled at the lightning. The once-bright yellow learned to find comfort in the darkness, realizing that love can flourish even in the storm.

Why does rain fall? Because even the sky can't hold back its pain.
So, it's okay for you to cry dearly.
Why is there night and day? To remind you that your life isn't all about darkness; wait for your sun to shine.
Why does the river flow? To tell you to go and continue.
You're here to wander, not to be stagnant.
Why is there a rainbow after the rain? To remind you that you're a masterpiece coming to flaunt.

Always remember, even a car can't reach its desired destination without its wheels spinning. Like you, today you may feel down, but expect that tomorrow you will be on top. The car travels through bumpy, rocky, and flooded roads, just like you may be having a hard time now. But wait to reach the freeway and enjoy the rest of your journey! 🌻
