Some weddings just have that energy.

Jessrel and Thomas flew home from Australia and brought everyone they love to the beautiful island of Bantayan. No ballroom. No city lights. Just the sea, the breeze, and an entire island that felt like it existed only for them.

This is exactly why we’ll always be suckers for destination weddings.

And then… the rain came.

Not the kind anyone puts on a mood board. The kind that makes you pause, laugh, grab a drink, and simply roll with it. Because here’s the thing—we’ve learned that the best weddings aren’t the ones where everything goes according to plan. They’re the ones where everyone chooses joy anyway.

The skies eventually cleared, the vows were exchanged, glasses were raised, and the island gave us one unforgettable celebration.

Maybe that’s what wild love really looks like.

Not perfect.
Just present.
And always worth the story.

Because why does every beach suddenly remind you of that one teenage crush, that one puppy love, or that one sunset you swore you'd never forget?

We had a quick pre-wedding shoot with Jessle and Thomas ahead of their big day here on Bantayan Island. Since the couple flew in from Australia, we only had a short time to prepare, but they absolutely made the most of it. In just two hours, we captured beautiful moments and had an amazing time exploring this little paradise together.

Rao and Ariel’s intimate wedding was a beautiful reminder that less can truly mean more.

Set against the timeless charm of Sta. Barbara, every corner carried its own character, aged textures, quiet details, and stories etched into its walls. Far from the usual hotel preparations, it felt deeply personal, warm, and full of soul.

With no pressure to perform, no grand productions to keep up with, the day unfolded exactly as it should, slowly, honestly, and beautifully. The focus was simply on being present, sharing moments with family and friends, and celebrating love in its purest form.

And perhaps that’s why intimate weddings will always have our hearts. It’s never about the spectacle; it’s about the memories shared and the people who make them meaningful.
