I learned so much this year-about myself, the world around me, and the people interact with. Every experience, easy or difficult, has taught me priceless lessons.New perspectives came my way, and hard times tested my resilience. So many strengths have been discovered that I never knew l had. I learned the ways of taking change and being open to new ideas, learning from successes as well as failures. That has been a year of growth, reflection, and transformation. I look forward to the lessons learned in the coming year.

Under the umbrella’s gentle cover, I walk through the rain, enjoying its soft touch. My cap and jacket keep me dry, but I am fully present in the peaceful surroundings. Each raindrop seems to sing a song, reminding me that there is beauty to be found. The world feels refreshed and alive, encouraging me to stop and enjoy the moment.

In nature’s embrace, I feel more connected to life. The rain represents the challenges we face, and the umbrella symbolizes my resilience. Just as I am protected now, I know I can handle any storm. Life's difficulties are easier to bear when I remember that calm always follows the rain. In this quiet moment, I find strength and beauty within myself.

Despite everything that has happened in my life, it hasn’t been easy to get through each day carrying pain, trauma, and longing for my parents’ care and love. I reached a point where I couldn’t get up anymore because I thought, “Why should I continue my life when it feels meaningless?” I reached a point where I started experiencing anxiety, and worse, depression. I never thought I would go through this because I used to feel happy and life seemed easy.

But now, as I think about everything that has happened in my life, I feel a sense of relief and even smile because I never thought I would reach where I am today. Now, I feel freedom and happiness, and I have learned to be independent. My life is much lighter now because I have learned how to work hard each day. I have learned so much about life.

I experienced many things that I never thought I would, and every experience made me a better version of myself.

And what’s important is that you turn yourself into a better person every day.
